Te Whare Rā (est 1979) is the oldest small winery in Marlborough and home to the oldest vines in the region. Owned & operated by The Flowerday Family for the last 20 years and fully certified organic since 2007.
Winemakers/Winegrowers – Anna & Jason Flowerday
Anna is an Aussie from McLaren Vale and Jason is a kiwi from Marlborough.
They are both passionate advocates of organic & biodynamic farming and Pinot Noir obsessives. Our main TWR blend is made from selected Southern Valleys sites and their winery home block – plus some outstanding single vineyard releases from Te Whare Ra & the Clayvin vineyard.
