Fancrest Estate is a tiny 5.5 Ha Pinot Noir-focused vineyard in North Canterbury. Husband and wife team, Ian and Di Holding, for the past 2 decades, have hand-crafted some of the most distinctive wines in the district, classic in structure, but with huge heart and soul. Di’s deep commitment to organic and regenerative farming, as well as some of the best limestone soils in the region, has played a huge part in setting this tiny vineyard apart. Fancrest Estate runs its fold of Highland cattle and a flock of Wiltshire sheep to help in the vineyard and is probably the only vineyard in the world where cattle pre-prune their vines. Certified organic, these wines are produced with ZERO additives.
