Jim is the Technical and Sustainable Development Director at Cloudy Bay. A 27 year career in the wine industry began with studying and working in viticulture in Australia and New Zealand, 15 years spent roles overseeing both viticulture and winemaking at Cloudy Bay. Jim has had a keen interest and knowledge in all parts of sustainability and its application in the wine industry both here and overseas. He is currently chairing the Circular Wine Group in Marlborough, on the leadership committee of the international Sustainable Wine Roundtable, works on a range of initiates within Cloudy Bay’s parent company, Moet Hennessy and is a trustee of the Village to Village trust working with RSE workers to create sustainable futures in the Pacific.
