Jasper Morris MW has been a Master of Wine since 1985 and is author of Inside Burgundy (2010) which won the prestigious André Simon award. He founded and managed the specialist Burgundy importer, Morris & Verdin from 1981 to 2003, then worked as Burgundy Director for Berry Bros & Rudd (2003-2017). Since 2016 he has been a Senior Consultant for Christie’s with specific responsibility for the Hospices de Beaune sale.
In 2018 he launched his website Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy, which despite its title covers pinot noir from everywhere in the world that makes exciting wines from this amazing grape. He has been enjoying the wines of New Zealand and commenting on them ever since his first visit in 1997.
