DAY ONE
Helen Masters has been the Winemaker at Ata Rangi for 20 years.
As well as crafting fine wines of consistent international acclaim, she is actively involved in the continual pursuit of excellence in the vineyards and driving Ata Rangi’s environmental management systems and organic certification. Exploring and understanding the essence of place is Helen’s goal, and is a champion of minimal additions, natural yeast and no fining as a way to truly express the unique fingerprint of the Martinborough Terrace.
Helen was Gourmet Traveller Wine’s 2019 New Zealand Winemaker of the Year.
